Update Item association with Subinventories and Locators

To update subinventoy and locator association records, set the ‘Subinventory Upload Action’ and 'Locator Upload Action' columns value must be ‘Update’ or ‘Update records’

To carry out an Update to the existing records, More4apps recommend downloading them first on the sheet. Refer to the Download Item association with Subinventories and Locators section for more information on how to download.

Updating Existing Associations

The Update functionality allows you to modify attributes of an existing Item-Subinventory or Item-Locator association.This is commonly used to change picking priorities, stocking defaults, or planning attributes without having to delete and recreate the record.

The Integrator uses the following unique keys:

  • Organization Code

  • Item Number

  • Subinventory Code

  • Locator Name (if applicable)

Once the record is identified, any changes made to the supporting attribute columns in your Excel sheet will be pushed to Oracle Cloud via the REST API.

You cannot update the Item Number, Subinventory Code, or Locator Name themselves. If any of these are incorrect, you must Delete the incorrect association and Create a new one.
