Price Lists Limitations

The following is a list of known limitations in the Price Lists Integrator:

Naming Constraints

Price List Names must be globally unique across all Business Units.

Primary Pricing Unit of Measure

The web service does not support updates on the Primary Pricing Unit of Measure flag on existing records.

Attachments

There is no REST service to support attachments for Price Lists.

Pricing Item Level

The Integrator currently supports Item Level pricing only. Support for Product Category-based pricing and All items is not available in the current version, though these may be considered for future releases as web services evolve.

Deletions

The REST service for deleting price lists does not return a specific success message. Consequently, the Integrator cannot definitively confirm the removal of the price list within the spreadsheet. As a workaround, users can manually delete price lists in Oracle User Interface.

Unsupported functionalities

  • The price list web service is unable to manage the charges for components and covered items.

  • Returns Price List - This specific price list type is not supported by the REST API at this time.

  • Rate Plans - The management of rate plans is not currently handled by the price list web service.

Pricing Tiers

This feature is not implemented in the current version. This functionality may be considered for future releases.
