Update Sales Orders

To carry out an Update to the existing Sales Orders, More4apps recommend downloading them first onto the sheet. Refer to the Download Sales Orders section for more information on how to download.

Sales Order Status plays a critical role when carrying out updates. Please ensure that you are updating the correct status of the Sales Order.

To update a Sales Order Header, the Order Number is required at Header and must be included as part of the upload and the 'Header Upload Action' must have Update or Update records values.

To update a Sales Order Line, the Order Number is required at Header and Line Number is required at Lines. Both the 'Header Upload Action' and 'Order Line Upload Action' must have Update or Update records values.

Example 1: Updating existing order with status 'Draft'

In this example, we want to update the existing order to update line quantities of the existing 2 lines and add a new line.

Example 2: Updating existing order with status 'Processing'

In this example, we want to update the existing order that is being processed to change the quantities on the line.

Example 3: Update Bill-to Customer

To update Bill-to and Ship-to Customer details at Header and Lines, you must have the 'Bill-to Address ID' and 'Ship-to Address ID' columns on the sheet with values for both Headers and Lines.
