Inventory Transactions Integrator

Welcome to the More4apps ERP Cloud Toolbox Inventory Transactions Integrator. This integrator is part of the Product Definition Module and provides a streamlined Microsoft Excel-based interface for processing inventory transactions directly into Oracle ERP Cloud. The Inventory Transactions Integrator enables users to perform mass inventory movements without navigating the Oracle ERP Cloud user interface transaction by transaction. Using Oracle REST Web Services as the underlying mechanism, the integrator validates and uploads data in bulk, significantly reducing manual effort and the risk of data entry errors.

The integrator is designed to support the following core business actions:

  • Create new Inventory Transactions, Additional Details (DFFs), and Attachments through the interface tables.

  • Update existing Inventory Transactions and Additional Details (DFFs) through the interface tables.

  • Delete Inventory Transactions from the interface tables.

  • Download interface transactions, completed transactions, and on‑hand quantities at the subinventory level.

This integrator supports the following Transaction Types:

Transaction Type

Miscellaneous Receipt

Record the receipt of inventory from an unspecified external source into a subinventory.

Miscellaneous Issue

Record the issue of inventory from a subinventory to an unspecified external destination.

Account Alias Receipt

Record inventory receipts using a predefined account alias to simplify account coding.

Account Alias Issue

Record inventory issues using a predefined account alias to simplify account coding.

Account Issue

Record inventory issues directly to a specified general ledger account.

Account Receipt

Record inventory receipts directly from a specified general ledger account.

Project Material Issue

Record the issue of inventory materials against a specific project and task.

Project Material Receipt

Record the issue of inventory materials against a specific project and task.

These are seeded transaction types. The integrator is designed to support custom transaction types created through Manage Inventory Transaction Sources and Types in the Setup and Maintenance work area.

All above transaction types support the following operations through this integrator:

  • Create: Mass-upload new inventory transactions across multiple organizations.

  • Update: Perform bulk modifications to pending or unprocessed transactions.

  • Delete: Remove incorrect or unwanted transactions before they are processed.

  • Download: Extract existing transactions based on filter criteria such as Organization, Item, or Transaction Type.

Note: Before using the Integrator, please ensure you are familiar with the prerequisites outlined in the More4apps Product Definition Module documentation and that the correct Oracle ERP Cloud privileges have been assigned to your user.

Note: It is important to understand the current limitations of this Integrator Limitations. These limitations will be addressed over time as Oracle improves the underlying web services and More4apps introduces additional features
