Asset Mass Additions Integrator

The Asset Mass Additions Integrator is a solution for creating Fixed Assets via the supported Oracle ERP Cloud REST Web Services.

Ensure you are familiar with the More4Apps Finance module prerequisites before attempting to use this Integrator.

Please also be familiar with the current Integrator Mass Additions Limitations . These will be resolved over time as Oracle improves the underlying web services and we add additional functionality to this project.

AP to Fixed Assets Lifecycle

In Oracle, the integration between Accounts Payable (AP) and Fixed Assets (FA) is primarily managed through the Mass Additions process. This functionality allows you to capture capital expenditures during the invoicing stage and seamlessly flow that data into your asset register without manual re-entry.

Here is the high-level summary of the AP to Fixed Assets lifecycle:

  1. Invoice Finalization: Enter, approve and account for asset invoices in (AP). Use Payables Invoices Integrator

  2. Transfer to Interface: Run the Create Mass Additions process topush data to the Assets (FA) module.

  3. Data Enrichment: Use the Asset Mass Additions Integrator to:

  4. Post to Assets: From within the Integrator, execute the Post Mass Additions process to officially create the asset records.

  5. Error Correction: Review and fix any rejected lines in the spreadsheet and re-upload.

  6. Interface Cleanup: (Optional) Delete processed or unwanted lines to keep the workbench clear.
