Financial Plan Resource Assignments Integrator

The Financial Plan Resource Assignments Integrator can be used to view, Create, Update and Delete Resource Assignments and Planning Amounts against the Financial Plan Project Tasks in the Project Portfolio Management module. The tool loads data to Oracle Cloud using the supported Oracle ERP Cloud REST Web Services.

You will need to setup the sheet using the Settings Form before the Integrator can be used. Setup under the Planning tab of the Manage Financial Project Settings will be used to default resources when creating Resource Assignments against the Financial Plan Project Tasks.

The following default settings will be used in the Integrator:

  • Resource Breakdown Structures: Primary Planning RBS is used to build the List of Values of the Resources.

  • Plan Settings: Use the Settings Form to set up the sheet. You can find the details of what to enter on the Settings Form under the Plan Settings for a project.

  • Task Settings: Use Task Planned Dates as Task Assignment Dates: When this option is enabled, the system automatically uses the task’s planning start and end dates as the default assignment dates for all resource assignments on that task. This means you don’t need to manually enter assignment dates for each resource — the task’s timeline will drive the resource’s assignment period. If the option is not enabled, assignment dates must be entered manually or come from another source. Example:

    • Task A has Planned Start Date = 01-Jan-2025 and Planned End Date = 31-Mar-2025.

    • If this option is enabled, all resources assigned to Task A will have assignment dates of 01-Jan-2025 to 31-Mar-2025 by default.
