Importing Profile Options

After your BI Reports are verified, the next step is to import the Profile Options.

Upon loading the page, the utility will immediately perform a check for any missing profile options and you will be presented with one of the below pages.

Profile Options are optional, however some products will require a profile option to be set to enable their download functionality. Refer to the Profile Options page for more information.

This screen appears when the utility detects Profile Options that are missing.

Action:

  1. Click the Import button to begin the import of any missing Profile Options. Alternatively, Profile Options can be manually created, see the Manually Creating Profile Options page for instructions.

  2. An Import Process pane will appear with an import status.

  3. Use the Refresh button to check the progress of the import.

  4. Once the Import is complete, the All Profile Options Exist screen will appear.

    1. If any errored statuses appear, refer to the Troublshooting page.

  5. Click Next to continue to the Importing Job Roles page →

This import does not assign profile options, you will need to assign these to your users in the Oracle UI. See the Profile Options page for details.
