Setting Profile Option Values

Profile Options with More4apps can disable and enable products and features across the suite. Once created they do need to be set against a user to take effect.

Profiles can be set at either the site or user level. The table below shows which level takes precedence.

Level Priority Example

Site

Lowest

Can set a value that spans across the entire instance but can be overridden by a User level profile value.

User

Highest, supersedes Site

Will override the value set at the Site Level for a specific user

Setting The Values

  1. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance screen in Oracle.

  2. Search for and select the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.

  3. Search for the Profile Option you want to set.

  4. Under the Profile Values section click the + and then add your users or site values based on the values accepted for the profile.
